Yay Optics was formed to allow moms and dads the confidence to order quality eyewear for their children. Kids tend to lose or break their glasses, leaving them suffering in school and athletics. We understand that visual processing development begins at birth and is critically important before ten years old.
This lab was formed by two brothers in 2022; an optometrist, Mark Sevigny, with years of experience in optics from biological and physiological levels. The other brother, Eric Sevigny, has years of optical lab experience in lens manufacturing. After many years of owning his independent lab, Eric went to work for the companies that manufacture and generate lenses. As a result, he learned the inner workings of each machine that makes eyeglasses possible.
We are not into mass-producing glasses for some incredible profits to show our shareholders. But rather, producing quality lenses that are made specifically for your child’s visual needs.
